Reason #130...


Kids like being in closets!


I walked by the linen closet this morning, and this is what I found. I thought about being irritated for 1/2 second about all the linens being on the floor, but they were too cute and this was way too much fun.


When my "bigs" saw the "littles" climbing in the cupboard, (and me not being mad about it) they decided it would be fun too. How cute are these little people? Climbing in cupboards? So cute! So, here are a few more pics just for fun.















OK, so here is the most awesome thing. Mahlon really wanted to be on the very top, but I didn't want to take ALL the towels out. He wanted to so badly, so I went for it. Through all the towels on the ground, and tossed Mahlon up there. I think the pictures explain how he felt about it!

First Things First...



Why? Everything we do needs a reason right? Why start a new blog when I already have 4 other places I could start a blog? These 4 other places are just failed attempts, so let's start fresh. I love a clean slate. I love starting fresh. (As you'll see in my next blog) So, here it is fresh start #5...

Amy Schuff is amazing photographer in the Sacramento area. I follow her blog, and she is starting a new challenge. Her challenge made me think. I haven't been behind my camera as much either. I have been having the normal struggles with mom-ness, dishes, laundry, home school, a puppy, and on and on. I know in my head I love my job. I think my heart needs to be reminded. I can feel the sour growing. But I also know what the Word reminds me to do. Phillipians 4:8 says..Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things. I want to think about these things. Not about how high the laundry is stacked. I want to think about the loveliness of my daughter's breath. I want to think about the pureness of a child, and not about the dirt under their fingernails. Maybe those last 2 things go hand in hand. I think being a mother is Excellent and our God is more than praiseworthy for blessing me with these 4 little people, and trusting me to raise them for Him.

I want to pick up my camera every day during the month of February and find reasons why I love being a mom on the other side of it. I will be praying for you friends as I pray for me. I pray that we continue to think on and find a way to document things that are lovely, pure, right, noble...
